ChaabanStores is not responsible for any kind of loss or damage that occurs as a result of fraudulent schemes. Scams may take a myriad of forms, in addition to those described below. We strongly encourage you to remain vigilant at all times and to exercise caution when sharing your personal information.

fraud

ChaabanStores will not contact you to request your personal information. We will not email or call you claiming that we have lost your customer records or ask you to verify your information.

If you are concerned about the legitimacy of a communication (call, email or SMS) you received from ChaabanStores, contact us directly.

recruitment

There are individuals who use the ChaabanStores name and tags in emails and websites in an effort to get fees from interested job seekers. These scams can be called recruitment fees or immigration processing fees.

The recruitment and placement agencies we contract with to assist us in identifying candidates for specific positions within ChaabanStores will not charge applicants any upfront fees of any kind.

investment fraud

Fraudulent activity can also take the form of investment schemes promising recipients a financial reward in exchange for personal, business or confidential information, upfront fees, facilities, or advance payments. These scams can carry the ChaabanStores logo and may use email addresses marked as legitimate accounts.

Money Transfer / Wire Fraud

ChaabanStores will never issue a check and order a portion of that check to be returned via wire transfer or cash delivery.

Prize / promotion fraud based

ChaabanStores may perform upgrades on its assets, but we will never enter a visitor into a promotion such as a contest, sweepstakes, or giveaway without your express consent.

If you win a prize at a ChaabanStores promotion, we will never ask for a fee or fee to deliver that prize.
